My brother-in-law Daryl and I got back recently from a little road trip. I thought I was going to be that travel blogger guy and do updates from the road. Far from it. Here I am weeks later trying to sift through photos.

Our mission was simple. Get this giant red van from the year 1994 from Chicago to Portland. We had five days. Something like 2600 miles, 750 bucks in gasoline, one wiper blade blown off in a storm, one headlight filled with water so it looked like an aquarium, some slick driving in snowstorm…one griz, one moose, a heard of bison…two national parks…several natural disasters. More on this later. Here are a couple of pictures.
